+Uriel+

Soooo I've had this piece of illustration board laying around for a long while, just a piece leftover from cutting some board for a commission, if I remember right. I've been feeling uninspired and unmotivated and overall rather blah for the past week, and so instead of working on, yanno, work, I decided to start scribbling on this thing and see what would come out. Draw something for myself for a change, something unplanned and fun. And naturally, because it's me we're talking about, this means wings and the male back. Why no I'm not predictable or ANYTHING, what. >.>;;;

I've always kinda wanted to draw Uriel, but it wasn't until I'd already drawn this and was searching for names of angels having to do with fire, that I realized how well it fits - for instance, apparently a traditional symbol of Uriel is even an open hand holding a flame; how cool is that?. ^^
